Vor der prächtigen Kulisse der Berchtesgadener Alpen konnte bei Hallthurm IC 2083 "Königssee" aus Hamburg-Altona festgehalten werden. Die über den gesamten Laufweg eingesetzte 101 095-8 hat ihren Zielbahnhof Berchtesgaden Hbf in wenigen Minuten erreicht.
In front of the Bavarian and Austrian mountains I was able to take another picture of IC 2083 "Königssee" hauled by 101 095-8. The train that started in Hamburg-Altona will soon arrive at Berchtesgaden.

Při první vlně koronaviru byli na trati mezi Rumburkem a Dolní Poustevnou nasazeny motorové vozy 810 z důvodu přerušení provozu mezistátních linek, mně se povedlo zachytit 810.060 s indrustriálním pozadím na osobním vlaku ze Šluknova do Mikášovic mezi Šluknovem a Šluknovem zastávkou.

Die Re4/4 II 11242 unterwegs im WLV mit Buntlast aus Interlaken nach Thun, am Schluss des Zuges befindet sich der geschleppte Tm232 141 (Einigen, 02.11.2016).

Der Mount Agung ist ein kegelförmiger Stratovulkan, der aus Andesit und andesitischem Basalt besteht. Entstanden ist er durch Subduktion der ozeanischen Kruste. Sein Zentral-Krater befindet sich westlich der höchsten Erhebung, er misst 500 Meter im Durchmesser und ist 200 Meter tief. Die bisherigen Eruptionen verliefen häufig explosiv. Im 19. Jahrhundert brach der Vulkan dreimal aus. Über die Eruptionen davor ist wenig bekannt. Der Ausbruch von 1843 hatte nach neueren Schätzungen den Vulkanexplosivitätsindex VEI=5 (frühere Schätzung VEI=2). Im Schnitt haben die Ausbrüche des Vulkans VEI=2 bis VEI=3. 25 % der Ausbrüche können aber ähnlich oder sogar größer sein als die Eruption von 1963 mit VEI=5.
Mount Agung or Gunung Agung is a volcano in Bali, Indonesia, southeast of Mt Batur volcano, also in Bali. Gunung Agung stratovolcano is the highest point on Bali. It dominates the surrounding area, influencing the climate, especially rainfall patterns. From a distance, the mountain appears to be perfectly conical. From the peak of the mountain, it is possible to see the peak of Mt Rinjani on the nearby island of Lombok, to the east, although both mountains are frequently covered in clouds.
Gunung Agung is an active volcano, with a large and deep crater that occasionally emits smoke and ash.
Having begun in 2017, this volcano's latest eruption is ongoing as of 2018
SBB Re4/4 11242 & a Re6/6 lead a Holcim ballast train up the north side of the Gotthard Pass at Silenen.

A trip to Oxford in April 2023 and some decent weather at long last! Stagecoach buses provided the camera with some much needed sunny shots.
This position is really for eastbound traffic, but westbound trains can be shot using a wider view, for the record.
