Als Leerfahrt nach Ansbach war 112 139 am 07.07. unterwegs und konnte im Abendlicht bei Treuchtlingen abgelichtet werden.

Die orientrote 112 101 zieht hier ihren RE3 nach Stralsund Hbf durch die Landschaft bei Thyrow ihrem nächsten Halt Ludwigsfelde entgegen.
Conemaugh & Black Lick SW7 #104 pulls an empty wire coil gondola from Building 112 just North of the JWF Industries complex on a freezing January morning in Johnstown, PA. The old structure was once part of the vast Bethlehem Steel complex that shuttered its remaining operations in the early 90s. It's great to see such an old brick structure still receiving rail cars; I believe the Johnstown Wire plant receives cars here while also utilizing a direct spur to their plant located on the West side of the Conemaugh River. They seem to be going through somewhat of a dry spell currently as the plant itself hasn't gotten any loads in a few weeks it appears. Thanks to Keith for helping with some info on the operation! 112 148 hat mit der RB18315 aus Elsterwerda-Biehla die Elbe überquert und kommt gleich am Haltepunkt Niederwartha zum stehen.
A few instants after I crossed Emanuela, I found myself asking her for a portrait, without even consciously thinking about it!
We moved to a small alley nearby and Emanuela took off her glasses and posed for me demonstrating that she knows what it takes to be on both sides of a camera.
Emanuela is original from Savona and into contemporary history.

Die ehemalige Cottbusserin 112 189 war im März 2023 im Eigentum der Weser-Ems-Eisenbahn und kam zusammen mit dem mintgrünen WEE-Wiko im RB89-Ersatzverkehr im Nördlinger Ries zum Einsatz. Auf dem Weg von Donauwörth nach Aalen hat sie hier mit ihrem Ersatzzug gerade die Ortschaft Ronheim passiert.
Bunt leuchtet im Oktober das Neckartal. In den Weinbergen von Besigheim ist 112 108 mit einer RB nach Stuttgart unterwegs.

Die Jütlandlinie glänzt seit je her nicht mit besonders dichten Güterverkehr. So ist das Warten auf interessante Züge durchaus zäh und öde. 2016 waren jedenfalls noch ausschließlich 112er an den RE`s, diese wurden natürlich gerne als Beifang genommen. Aber nach der vierten 112 wird es doch auch damit langweilig. So fängt man aus puren Frust an zu spielen und Blickwinkel zu entdecken. Eines dieser Experimente entstand mit Hilfe des Außenspiegels meiner Hercules und 112 181 und dem RE70 nach Hamburg.

Ein paar zusammengestellte Behausungen findet man bei Mitteldachstetten, welche im gesamten das Örtchen Dörflein ergeben. Einen Katzensprung obendrüber liegt Berglein. Ansonsten ist es sehr ruhig hier. Man hört immer mal wieder eine Kettensäge oder eine Axt. Beschaulich geht es zu, an der Fränkischen Rezat!
Das Eggishorn ist ein 2926 Meter hoher Gipfel im Wallis (Schweiz) oberhalb von Fiesch. Es liegt innerhalb der seit 2002 zum UNESCO-Weltnaturerbe erklärten Bergregion Jungfrau-Aletsch-Bietschhorn.
Erreichen lässt sich das Eggishorn mit der 1966 fertiggestellten Luftseilbahn ab Fiesch. Die Bahn ist in zwei Sektionen unterteilt: Fiesch – Fiescheralp/Kühboden und Fiescheralp/Kühboden – Eggishorn. Auf der Sektion Fiesch – Fiescheralp überwindet die Luftseilbahn eine Höhendifferenz von 1162 m und auf der Sektion Fiescheralp/Kühboden – Eggishorn von 714 m.
Die Fahrt von der Talstation bis zur Bergstation dauert 15 Minuten. Die Bergstation liegt auf einer Höhe von 2893 Metern. Von der Station führt ein gut angelegter Weg in 15 Minuten zum Gipfel. Wikipedia
Vor der Kulisse von Kirchheim am Neckar ist ein RE von Heilbronn nach Stuttgart unterwegs. Während die Doppelstockgarnituren noch bis nächstes Jahr erhalten bleiben, stehen der Fotostelle Veränderungen an, die Bauarbeiten zur Errichtung von Lätmschutzwänden haben bereits begonnen.
