Took it for a walk into the mountains of Eryri today with a cartridge of Lomography Metropolis. Might be a strange choice for the mountains but the muted colours might work on a day like today.
Shots taken with my little Mini Shot 110 Compact camera at Elliefest, held on June 25th 2011. All the money raised at this event went to help pay for treatments of a little eight-year-old girl who has cancer in my hometown.

I took this historic photograph on 27 Sept 1999, The last game at Tiger Stadium in Detroit. As far as I have been able to find, this is the only photo of the actual hit by Robert Fick. In one swing of the bat Robert Fick had the last Hit, Home Run, Grand Slam, RBI and Run Scored ever at Tiger Stadium. In the larger size, you can see the ball just above the blue ground level wall. From my first test roll through the Minolta Auto 110 Zoom. A lot of the shots from the first roll had lightleaks, but this was the most dramatic. I am assuming that the cartridge must have gotten cracked somewhere along the line, otherwise there is no explanation. :-P

On the left, the Minolta Weathermatic Dual 35 is a 35mm film camera with electrically switchable 50mm and 35mm lenses and automatic film advance.
The 110 film camera is also a Minolta Weathermatic. It has manual film advance and does not have switchable lenses.

Minolta introduced this version in 1979. I procured it about a year after the Mk1 (same brilliant shop). This was a more conventional approach by Minolta and, as a consequence less pocketable. The zoom is 25 to 67 mm (50-135mm in full frame 35mm) f3.5 12 elements in 10 groups plus a built-in close-up element focusing down to 8 inches. Subminiature Photography magazine considered this lens to be one of the top ten performers in subminiature history. Aperture is fully variable with click stops at f3.5, 4, 5.6, 8, 11 and 16 . Full-aperture TTL metering is centre-weighed with exposure compensation control. Aperture-priority automatic from EV 5.6 to EV 17 (at ASA 100) with control for up to +/- 2 EV continuous adjustment in 1 EV steps. Shutter speeds of B, 1/4 - 1/1000 second, mechanical 'X' (1/125 second) for flash. The viewfinder shows 85% of film frame area with a split image focusing spot centred in a matt field. Shutter speed is indicated by 5 LEDs, LED over-/under-range indicators and the LED at '125' also blinks as flash ready signal when Minolta X-series Auto Electroflashes are used.
Viewfinder eye piece has correction from -1.1 to +0.8 dioptre. The shutter release is threaded for a cable release and has a lock to prevent it being pressed accidentally.
The self timer, with LED indicator, gives a 10 second delay. It is shown here with the optional grip attached.

I found this in a brilliant local camera shop (now sadly no more), where interesting and old cameras could always be found, and remembered reading reviews when it was introduced (1976). It was an interesting idea by Minolta and appealed to me as an easily pocketable option to my X500/700 outfit when that wasn't convenient. It even had a macro setting and produced pretty good results despite the 110 format thanks in part to advances in film technology. It came with auto exposure but not TTL, the exposure meter lenses can be seen to the left of the lens the assembly rotating to select f-stop.The 25 - 50mm (f4.5-f16.0) zoom lens has close-focusing capability down to 11 inches (they called it a macro setting). The camera is fully-automatic, aperture-priority exposure and the CdS meter has exposure compensation so that film from ISO 25 to 1600 can be used and not only the default 100 and 400.
Shutter speeds range from 10 seconds to 1/1000 second. X is flash at 1/150 second and there is a B setting, but otherwise no manual control. LEDs in the viewfinder give under and over exposure warnings as well as battery low status.
Taken with my little Mini Shot 110 Compact camera at Elliefest, held on June 25th 2011. This game involved two kids using pugil sticks to try and knock the other off their pedestal. The last one left standing is the winner. Kind of like when Captain Kirk had to fight the Gorn.

Agfa Agfamatic 4008 Tele Pocket Sensor camera for 110 format with Lomography Orca 100 ISO black and white film, exposed at the camera's high speed setting by modifying the cassette's tab. Developed in Adox Adonal diluted 1+25 for 14 minutes at 20ºC.
