Drove to Vegas (no pics there, as it was not really about Vegas) for our 10th RL wedding anniversary (which happens to be our 5th SL wedding anniversary).
This was the last Birthday Party at Chuck E Cheeses ever. Unfortunately I can't remember what birthday this was. I'm thinking maybe it was my 11th in 1994 because those shoes look like the shoes I wore to my 5th grade "graduation" a few days prior. But I also remember having a birthday party at my house with a couple of friends from school. Maybe I did both? Yeah, I think I may of done both. I'm not sure.
I look miserable. And that dress is like 2 sizes too small. lol i look like ChrisChan.
This Chuck E Cheeses moved to another shopping center about three, four years ago.

Unit History
E59701 was built by the Birmingham Carriage and Wagon Company in 1961 as part of thirty (three car) sets built to operate services on the former Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway main line and were allocated to Neville Hill and Newton Heath. These sets spent their entire careers based around this area and earned them the name of the 'Calder Valley' sets. This arduous route meant they required more power than other diesel multiple unit sets, so the power cars were fitted with 180hp Rolls Royce engines which gave them the best hp/ton of any of the first generation diesel multiple unit’s. Two TSL vehicles were withdrawn during the 1960’s following fire damage. The class was included in the diesel multiple unit refurbishment program which commenced in the mid 1970’s, however the work did not commence on this class until 1979. In the early 1980’s the West Yorkshire PTE adopted a policy of reducing DMU sets to two-cars wherever possible to meet public transport spending limitations imposed by Parliament. Therefore eighteen trailers (fifteen recently refurbished) were withdrawn in 1983, leaving ten three car sets and eighteen two car sets. E59701 was one of the ten TSL vehicles to be retained and remained in service until the influx of the second generation diesel multiple unit’s and it was withdrawn in the 1993. Following withdrawal it was purchased for use on the Battlefield Line as a hauled coach however E59701 was moved in 1994 to the East Lancashire Railway, joining class 110 power cars E51813/42 to form a three car set. During 1995 the refurbishment was removed and the vehicle returned to something more like its original condition. In 2003 the entire three car set was relocated to the Wensleydale Railway where at one point it was in use daily and a bar was installed in the front saloon of E59701. By 2010 the class 110 power cars were out of use and E59701 was transferred to the Churnet Valley Railway to operate between their two Birmingham Carriage and Wagon Company class 104 power cars to form a three car set. However in March 2015 the two class 104 power cars moved to the East Lancashire Railway leaving E59701 behind and the only diesel multiple unit vehicle left on the Churnet Valley Railway.

I was so excited to make a cake for my dear friends daughter who turns 10 tomorrow. I wanted to make something pretty, with a little glamour yet still a cake to suit her age. I am really pleased with how it turned out. I hope she likes it!
