10th June 2012 marks the end of Dalkeith Depot and offices. From the 11th June Lothian Buses will be stepping in take over some of the services that are to be cut across midlothian. RIP Dalkeith Depot - seriously just tap the building and that is all that is needed to make this building collapse. 05th June 2012.
Seeing what my new PC can do if I just play with EEP and have some patience. I usually snap one of these in less than 2 minutes then toss it up here but it's taking some time to find out what lighting works with PBR, so this was about 10 minutes in the chair.
Raw and unedited from SL.
Under the hazy gaze of the distant Cabinet Mountains, the Day Gas takes the junction switch onto MRL's 10th Sub. The joined-rail 10th Sub is the original Northern Pacific mainline, completed in 1883. Though since the completion of the cutoff through St Regis in 1909, the 10th has served as the alternate mainline between Paradise and Missoula although it still remains the normal routing for the gas locals.

Bear Creek Golf Course
Welcome to the 10th tee box on the course! Yes, I'm pouting like a three year old, stomped my foot twice, and threw a quick mini tantrum! LoL!
Yes, March has not disappointed anyone knowing that when it comes in like a lamb, it's going out like a lion.
Red golf balls wouldn't even help today . . .

A wintery scenic shot of Shildon Signal Box, 10th March 2023. About three inches of snow had fallen overnight in County Durham but the day had dawned bright and sunny. Shildon Signal Box is situated on the Bishop Auckland branch and once controlled the connections into the Shildon wagon works (once one of the major wagon building and repair centres in the UK). It was built by the North Eastern Railway in 1887 and contains a McKenzie & Holland frame installed in 1928, now reduced to 42 levers. These days it has taken over control of the northern part of the Bishop Auckland branch (including Bishop Auckland) and a recent addition, replacing the loss of the connections to the wagon works has been the connections to the National Railway Museum centre “Locomotion”.
This is my first time to use Photoshop's neural filter. Photo was taken at the corner of J and 10th Street in Sacramento, CA.

A great selection of flight shots today from this incredible bird. I do not even bother with perched shots now as i have so many. Still a limited number of places left before this superb bird returns to Africa in a few weeks time.
My mom passed away on Valentine’s Day 10 years ago at the age of 71. We stopped for a short visit at the cemetery on this 10th anniversary of her passing. She always loved sending her children and grandchildren Valentine cards every year so I was inspired to make a big heart in the snow with my boots.
Here's to new beginnings and new horizons on the eve of my birthday.
Here's to going ouside my comfort zone and to welcoming the shadow side of myself, the sometimes weak and vunerable and brave me.
Here's to being proud of small achievements like keeping positive when things are hard.
Here's to still loving even when times are uncertain and the future is yet to be revealed and only traces and hopes and echoes of what might be are all you have to hang on to.
Here's to being surpised.
Here's to being 37, a dad and still trying to figure things out and planting seeds and praying and cultivating that they come to life and even if they don't that I'll still ask questions and hopefully not find fixed answers but paper boats to sail ashore to my heart's new found melodies.
It's late here now, I've got to go to bed. Goodnight.
UTA MP36 No. 15, dressed in UTA 10th Anniversary livery, pulls a Provo-Ogden commuter rail train through the Jordan Narrows in Bluffdale, Utah the evening of June 23, 2020.
This photo is inspired by all of our loved ones who sadly cannot be with us.
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there, I do not sleep
I am a 1,000 winds that blow
I am the diamond glints on snow
I am the sun on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled light
I am the soft star that shines at night
Do not stand at my grave and cry
I am not there; I did not die.

Omaha Nebraska on the 10th street bridge looking north. This was shot on a Saturday evening and it was just starting to get busy downtown.
I was standing in the turning lane with my tripod as traffic was driving by. I wanted the shot. LOL....
Been a bit of a non-day today for me, my toe joint is playing up like crazy so wearing shoes hurts, driving hurts... just standing up hurts! I did a quick grab shot on the way past Lowick before deciding that today was best spent chilling at home!
Lots of pain killers later and things are bareable but not much better than that, so I think it is going to be an enforced quiet week!
