Female landing on Plover Island at Moor Green Lakes nature reserve, Berkshire. Shelduck are most easily seen at the coast but some winter or even nest inland and Moor Green has been a regular site in recent years.
10 days in and it's boredom time. This cool little fella came with my Dark Knight movie and I was watching it so I thought why not?
I should have taken a shot of the setup for this as it was a hilarious configuration of old fashioned flash and folded paper reflectors. If I wasn't so tired I would have spent more time on the lighting but this is what you get for 5 minutes.
