GOLDEN HOOPS SHOULD BE BANNED!
I AM PROTESTING the existence of this basketball league. Anyone that has watched these games knows that this league TOTALLY favors the Typhoons when they are playing. The blatant fouls against any team challenging the Tamuning Typhoons is soooo obvious that the game is onesided. The league encourages fouls because that's how they make their money. Every technical foul costs the team $75 (or at least that's how much it was when I played last year) and you must pay before you can play the next game. On this night Team DLX was given at least 10 techs. This photo shows Collins and Royster almost getting into it. Collins got the foul but I saw what had happened, so did the people watching the game. The play was over and Royster comes from behind Collins and purposely bumps into him. It was soooo obvious Royster instigated the confrontation - but - Collins got the Tech. Sooooo wrong!!
This league encourages confrontations because the more fouls, the more money you pay to the league. Where does the money go? Who knows. Golden Hoops needs to be shut down, investigated, or turned around with real referees calling a legit game. DLX lost this game, BUT, in a real game with proper officiating, Tamuning Typhoons doesn't stand a chance of winning against Team DLX.
