Il tram Sirio 1008 costruito da AnsaldoBreda per GEST, colorato da una livrea promozionale per servizi ambientali, sta effettuando servizio viaggiatori presso la fermata di Federiga-Foggini, in servizio sulla linea metrotramviaria T1 che collega Firenze (Alamanni) a Scandicci (Villa Costanza).

The CF-1008 is a ship that harkens back to the "American Muscle Car" of the long dead planet earth. Owner's of CF-1000s are forever tinkering and customizing their ships. This particular ship made the Kessel Run in 16 parsecs.

V sobotu 28. 3. 2020 se do čela vlaku RJ 1008 dostala reklamní "Bobule" 193.227. V rámci úbytku výkonů, souvisejících s omezením volného pohybu osob v důsledku panující pandemie nemoci COVID-19, byly na konci vlaku do Prahy přepravovány také lokomotivy 162.118, 193.226 a 193.222. Tuto se podařilo zachytit za zastávkou Sruby.
Tiempo atrás, Isabel miraba pensativa a través de esta ventana. La que nos recuerda que estamos separados de la civilización por un espacio que a veces preferimos no cruzar, pues no pertenecemos ni nos sentimos parte de sus tradiciones, costumbres ni comportamientos.
En este mismo lugar nos sentamos frente a frente, cuando vino María a contarnos como era su manera de vivir, dejando atrás las preocupaciones, disfrutando el momento y liberando los pensamientos.
Comienzo a reponerme, mi cuerpo reacciona bien ante la comida y el ejercicio. De alguna manera seguimos haciéndonos fuertes.
Hoy, la distancia no es un obstáculo insalvable, sigo aquí, mandándote todas mis energías, sé que las recibes y te dan fuerzas, ánimos y un motivo de futuro por el que luchar.
Junto al aire dejo entrar la luz, en una cueva que solo conocía oscuridad y silencio. Cuando la brisa fresca retorne, lo hará impulsada de positivismo, esperanza y vitalidad.
Estoy seguro que llegará en el momento adecuado.

Love this photo. Since the pandemic at the start of last year service 2 has been promoted to a double decker service about 80% of the time and I quite like seeing a very wide variety of buses taking the service. Having been one of the first arrivals from this group of buses from London 1008 has now been in service at Lothian for 3 years. So here we see Lothian buses 1008 on Forrest Place on the way to the Gyle Centre.

While visiting an Amish farm today, I inquired about furniture making in the area. The woman selling baked goods and produce told me that her father builds furniture on their farm and invited me into his shop to speak with him. As I walked into the workshop, it seemed as if I had stepped back 100 years. There were all sorts of hand tools and machines with belts that were driven by steam. Under one machine, there were chickens nesting, and as I walked by, one jumped out from under the machine and an egg rolled out into the sawdust. This is one of the workbenches in the space. I assume this birdhouse was built and painted in the shop.

In mid-1959, absorbed with its Formula One program yet anxious to maintain a successful GT effort, Porsche sought outside help to keep its aging GT Carreras competitive. Made entirely of aluminium, the Abarth’s body was smaller than the Reuter 356 in every dimension and reduced drag from 0.398 Cd to 0.365 Cd. This new body also contributed to considerable weight loss, coming in at 1762 lbs, very near to the FIA’s minimum 1780 lbs.
Acquired new by a Swedish gentleman driver, #1008 won the Swedish GT Championship twice, accomplishing 11 wins in 11 starts. During its racing career, the car never crashed. It’s believed to be the most original Carrera Abarth GTL in existence, with one repaint and having only covered 10,450 miles.
