It’s the lesser spotted 1003! At some point, a second Mercedes minibus was branded up for University of Nottingham hopper work, with there being 1001 and now 1003 as well. However, 1003 is incredibly hard to find as it doesn’t track, and rarely seems to be used in service anyway because the 902 almost always has 1001 on it.

 

This may not be the best picture ever, but at least I managed to capture one of the most elusive Hopper Buses on camera.

One interesting service on the North side of the City is CT4Ns Shopper S11 which operates hourly between Woodthorpe and Bulwell running via Mapperley, Mapperley Plains, Plains Estate, Sainsbury's, Arnold, Bestwood Park, Top Valley, Moor Bridge, Morrisons and Bulwell Hall Park!!

 

1003 exits the Norwich Gardens Turning Circle alongside the Chris Firth Cottages now used by The Toy Library, a local charity, with an S11 to Mapperley.

Manchester Metrolink: 1003 a T68 light rail vehicle captured here at the Trafford Bar stop operating a journey to Piccadilly. This vehicle was the only one of the original batch to wear the yellow and silver livery albeit with an advert in between for the Imperial War Museum.
