A couple of hours ago the photo I took of a fantastic Cumulonimbus cloud, the crocodile cloud, has reached the unique milestone of 10,000 favorite votes. This may very well be the first photo on Flickr to reach that count. I'm grateful to all of you who fav'd my photo! A special thanks to Samuel Gbasai who completed the first 10,000 favs.
The thing i love about this Fuji is i can put it in my pocket and explore, found this gem on my lunch

The BvS 10 is an armored all terrain vehicle produced by the Swedish company Land Systems Hägglunds, a subsidiary of the British BAE Systems. It is pretty much an evolution of the older Bv 206S that features improved protection (including the option for add-on armor), increased mobility, a larger carrying capacity, and weapon mounts such as the machine gun turret shown here.

pastel 10
water soluble pastels on cardboard framed on wood.
24" x 19"
normally i paint, collage, mixed media on/in wood. my art is usually quite "dark and often "bloody".
i have recently been experimenting with pastels.
therefore i decide to "try" my hand at pastel using my usual cast of characters that one normally sees in my art.
i am quite surprised with how the piece has turned out. although the "people" that are represented in this piece are ones i've used before they have never been used in quite this way..by that i mean......so "cheerful"!!! ( as i view the piece). normally my art is rather dark, has lots of grim figures, "blood", etc. but this piece practically sparkles with pinks, light blue, turquoise, bright oranges, yellows. and, i think, that changes the nature of the piece.
what do i think of this art piece? hmmmm......i think i rather like it.....
considering that it started out only as an "experiment" and not intended to be a "serious" piece, i suppose i have achieved my goal. i now know i can use pastel with my usual people/figures/hands/etc. but....i also know that pastel and "blood" do not mix..at least not for me, not at this moment. maybe as i try again "there will be blood" !
april 2008-here's some fun news: i just sold two of my (new medium for me) pastels..."pastel 2: why are they crying?" and "pastel 10".
i also sold "pastel 5: paradise" found a few weeks ago.
i made all these new pastels for my upcoming "artomatic" art show, 29 may-5 july.
i am mega psyched. three pastels sold before the show even opens. luckily i've continued to work so i have others i can hang and still have the 12 i wanted to hang...just not the "original" 12!

My $25 Olympus OM-10 was away with a friend for the better part of a year. I was bored when it came back home and got a quick shot of it before it went back into hibernation. I guess I should use it again one day. And finish the rolls of film in the Yashica-Mat and Mamiya. Oh, and maybe run some film through the old Nikon I have again too. So many film cameras and too much laziness on my part! March 1, 2014.
Holy crap, where did 10 years go! It’s ten years since I first dressed up fully for the first time and saw what my girl self looked like. My interest had been piqued during kinky roleplay when I wore a maid outfit and terrible wig, but there was enough there to make me want to do it properly.
The pic on the right is from my first full dress up, and while there’s plenty wrong with it, it was my first tentative step into the trans world.
My laugh lines are more prominent now and I have more wrinkles on my forehead (which my fringe thankfully mostly covers), but other than that, I think I’m pretty well preserved considering there’s another 10 years on the clock. I’m fitter and my body is better toned now than when I was in my 20’s!
Hopefully the ageing is offset by better makeup techniques, better photography and lighting (no flash washing the pic out!), and better posing (not staring straight at the camera!). I’ve also learned what style of clothes suit me and which ones really don’t.
I’m eternally grateful for the comments and favs… especially as my pics aren’t particularly racy.
Hopefully I still have many more years of dressing up, although I’m already wondering what the 2031 comparison pic is going to look like!
Much Love,

Custom built LEGO minifigures.
Well, I found myself being tagged in the latest round of "top ten" getting about. Thanks Richard Goff :) I think that means whoever I tag in this shot is encouraged to post their own favorite ten minifigs as well & then they tag people etc...I could`nt really define a "top ten" so here`s ten I think stand out among the lot. I struggled trying to squeeze 10 figs into my tiny shoot space without it looking overcrowded so I shot them individually to form this photo collage.
So... I didn't take this today. Today was just busier than I thought it would be, and I couldn't be stuffed to take a picture.
I finished morning practice in a bad mood - I'm not quite sure why - and didn't feel like taking a picture then, and then I had to go to the trainer (WHERE I SAW SANYA RICHARDS ROSS JUST CASUALLY GETTING SOME PT NO BIG DEAL) and then I had to make brownies for a team dinner and then I had an hour to spare before afternoon practice but felt more like watching Top Gear than taking pics.
Just in case you wanted to know. So I edited this instead, which I took at the beginning of winter break. I actually made a video of this whole shoot, if you want to see my ~*~creative process~*~ when I go shooting.
So yuss. Tomorrow we only have morning practice so MAYBE I'LL GET TO GO OUT IN THE GOLDEN HOUR OMG
