Thought I'd follow yesterday's post of the bald eagle, an enduring symbol of freedom, with another symbol of freedom...
Just a few updates...

Batman: Redid his cowl and gave him the GitD BVS head.
The Joker: Just combined the 2006 Joker with my Joker.
Lex Luthor: Kinda like the Ivy legs on him...
What do you think? Enjoy! :D
Managed to grab a close-up shot of this with the tilt shift lens. It's a pretty out there building design, by the late James Stirling, after whom the architectural Stirling Prize is named.
It was a pretty controversial post modern design back in the day, but it has been protected by Grade II listed status, so it can't be altered in any significant ways. As such, when it was made listed in 2016 it was (and still is I think) the youngest listed building in England.
I kind of like how off the wall it is, and as I mentioned in my last snap posted last summer, to me it's a bit like the 'Homer's Car' of building designs. Anyone unfamiliar with that reference have a look here:
So i guess this is it.
As long there are no new parts to pimp
him up he´s ready to roll.
I think this car is propably a big reason why
i started building with LEGO again.
So he was in my head all the time
waiting to bust some ghosts.
About 2 days of work.
lots of chrome,
some chromebricks,
and a magical matrix,
that i had just the right parts,
made this creation happen.
Seriously i will never build
something again that i´m so proud of
to put on my shelf than this ECTO-1.

1 of 30 April Photo a Day. Took so many photos yesterday I couldn't work out which one to post but loved this from B.Supreme's takeover - break dancing, beats and a fab day, my 7 year old daughter was transfixed and in fact mastered a runniing cartwheel straight after this...

She felt a little in need of a wash and brush up!!
I returned to Bray’s Pit a couple of day’s ago, and the white duck was still there (it’s the only white one on the pond), and I took this sequence of shots as she very vigorously bathed herself. I clicked away and it wasn’t until I downloaded the photos that I really saw the funny positions she contorted herself into to make sure she was thoroughly clean all over!!
The Greylag Goose (also spelled Graylag in the United States), Anser anser, is a bird with a wide range in the Old World. It is the type species of the genus Anser.
It was in pre-Linnean times known as the Wild Goose ("Anser ferus"). This species is the ancestor of domesticated geese in Europe and North America. Flocks of feral birds derived from domesticated birds are widespread.

Kroma City, MO Present Day
I sidestep out of the way as this freakshow shoots another fireball. I send an energy beam his way, only to have it be dissolved by his flame breath. I use this opportunity to charge him. As he begins to react I slide under his flames and knock his feet out from under him. As I stand up he tries to fire a few quick bursts at me, "but I'm quicker" I think as I try to land a backflip. I didn't. So here I am, lying on my face, with a barrage of fire spanning 7 feet wide coming at me. I suppose you will want an explanation.
Five Minutes Earlier~
So there I was, doing the daily sweep of the city during my lunch break. Staying to the shadows, helping when I could. When I hear a call go out over the police radio (that I hacked) that some psycho was attacking downtown with a flamethrower. Luckily I was close enough to the area to get him before they did. But they managed to leave out one crucial piece of information, he was the flamethrower. Believe me, I tried to talk to him first, but bad guys will be bad. And I believe that brings us to our present situation.
He's far enough away it takes a second for the bursts to get to me. I try to use this time and create a portal. I strain for a moment, which seems to be all the time I've got. I make a small portal, enough to shield myself from the flames. But as the portal dissolves, a last bit of fire burns my shoulder, likely 2rd degree. I try to stand up, but collapse, creating these portals hurt, bad. But the other guy seems to be taking a breather too. I would normally utilize this opportunity, but we both need it. I then hear cop sirens in the distance, I need to hurry this up. I push myself to my feet. I can see it in his eyes, this guy's planning to do some big show stopper ending. Well I have to stop him first. The pyromaniac begins to summon up a wall of fire, extremely bigger than the first attacks. C'mon Charlie think, think! I got it. I start to psychically pick up the manhole cover, the screech of tires fill my ears as the police pull up, and the flame wall is getting closer, its all messing with my ability to concentrate. I panic, I need to hurry up. So I desperately fling the cover through the fire wall, hoping to at least spook them all. I see the plate disappear, then hear a loud "THUD".
The fires dissipate, and I see the assailant lying on the ground. I don't know where I hit him, but I do know I need to get out of here. I run into an alley and jump a few fences before stopping to change into my street clothes. My shoulder is hurting, but I can at least try to ignore it I look at my watch and am displeased to see, it's time to go back to work.
