The beach of Fauskasandur in East Iceland.
The beach is right beside the Ring Road so gets loads of visitors. I was lucky to get some untrodden foreground right at the western end.
Not able to find a name for the sea-stack but this is Iceland, it will have one! Having said that, it looks like the stack 'Arnardrangur' down near Dyrhólaey emerging from the sea... maybe it was following me?

Het huis aan de Kanisstraat 1 in Alkmaar stamt uit 1550 en is daarmee vermoedelijk het oudste huis van Alkmaar.
As is becoming traditional, the first sunrise of the New Year! Taken from the top of a perishing East Lomond in Fife. The lights are those of Leven, Methil and Buckhaven.
Happy New Year!
Explored. Thank you.

The lovely ruin at Sabacche 1 surrounded by chaca trees.
At the end of November, I took my third trip to Mexico since 2014 to photograph Mayan ruins. I visited a number of ruins not open to the public, overgrown and hidden in the jungle, in order to continue working on my series of infrared images of Mayan Ruins. Many people think that the large ruins (Chichen Itza, Uxmal, Labna, Sayil, etc.) comprise the totality of Mayan civilization in the Yucatan, but there are literally hundreds of smaller or satellite cities spread throughout Yucatan and Campeche. I am so drawn to these beautiful, sometimes remote, ruins, partially overgrown, but still standing after more than a thousand years.
If you'd like to read about this trip, I have a blog post about it that you might enjoy.
Estornino Negro (Sturnus unicolor)
3ª de la serie. A primera hora de la mañana, la velocidad es más bien escasita, y más si hay nubes amenazadoras de lluvia.
Si queréis ver más, no dejéis de visitar El rincón de los protegidos.

Feliz finde para tod@s.
Have a good weekend ;-)

This is my first picture of a stranger! I've been walking around with my camera for almost three weeks, but i didn't have the guts to aproach someone. My father lives in a nursing home and when i took him out for lunch i saw this man sitting drinking his coffee. I've been a nurse for a few years and talking with elderly always felt much easier. So aproaching this man was easy! Next time i'll try to get more out of my comfort zone!

Graduation tower No. 1 (Tężnia nr 1), Tężniowa str., Ciechocinek, January 29, 2016
A complex of three graduation towers was built from 1824 to 1859. It was designed by Jakub Graff. Saline water from a source has the salt concentration increased in the graduation towers. Then it flows to salt works where it is raw material for the production of salt. Saline water evaporating in the graduation towers is a source of microclimate rich in iodine, sodium, chlorine or bromine creating a natural therapeutic inhalation facility.
The graduation tower No. 1 has the length of 648 metres the height of 15.8 metres and 5.0-5.8 cubic metres of capacity.

Hinshaw Greenway is 1.66 miles of asphalt surface, connecting Maynard Drive to Marla Dorrel Park and crossing US Hwy 1/64 on a pedestrian bridge that is the site of a public art installation, "Bowstring Vines." It runs through the Swift Creek Watershed and has some siginificantly sized beech trees located just off the trail in the wooded northern section.

A tribute to my first Star Wars photo. I just wanna say a huge thank you to each and every single one of my followers. I've been here for not even two years, and I've grown so much since the TIE MOC I made for the Brickset competition, uploaded on December 1, 2016, my very first photos. It's been a varied, fun, and wild ride since then, and none of this would've been possible without y'all's support. Again, thank you all so much, and I hope to continue to inspire you guys with new and, well, inspirational photos :)
