I'm a day late on the post. But! Hey, I got the picture in yesterday. The day was busy with my little girls and then my wife and I went to her works recognition dinner. We didn't get home until the morning and I knew I only had a few hours before my little people would be awake. So, I'm getting to the photo now :)
Matt aka Donut strikes a pose at Freedom Skate Shop on State Street, I took this for a mutual friend who no longer lives in Wisconsin.
In case you didn't know, I started a blog to share my ramblings on photography and most everything else that's on my mind. Today's post looks at the thought process behind converting a portrait to black and white or keeping it in color. Click and share if you want, but don't expect me to spam the blog everyday!

Oddly enough this wasn't the photo I thought I'd be creating today. I got home at 4:30am and probably didn't get to sleep closer to 5:00am. I didn't even sleep that long. I was honestly read to go back to bed at 1:00pm. I really love my photo from yesterday. It's a lot closer to the work I want to be creating. There is a chance that I might do something similar to it tomorrow because I really do like it. Tomorrow I'm going to get my books for school. Then I go back on Monday.
On a complete tangent I think I want to shave my beard off?
