I sold my 42" Sony LCD RPTV about two years ago and had been searching for a good replacement. I picked up a near top of the line Samsung about a year ago and returned it 3 times before giving up on Samsungs poor quality control. I ended up at Sam's club tonight after seeing a price drop on Vizio's new 55" local dimming LED LCD. All I can say is WOW! Samsung, Sony and plasma should be scared.
