The bookwork, "A Collection of Many Problems (In Memory of the Dead Media Handbook) is on display on a podium in the center of the space. In the space there is also a place for people to write notes and sketches on paper related to the topic of "The Dead Media Handbook" - a project proposed by author Bruce Sterling in 1995:

The space is surrounded by photographic prints (A3 format) of handling the book, which are indexed according to the Dead Media Project categorical listing of field notes. Printouts of Sterling's Dead Media Manifesto and the categorical listing of field notes are also displayed in the space.
Ten people that write a note or complete a sketch related to the concept of "The Dead Media Handbook" received a hand-modified copy of the book.

Did you notice that I hadn't posted any pictures of kangaroos yet? While there are at least two kangaroos for every resident of Australia, they weren't as populated in Sydney as one may have thought. This was remedied with a day trip to @australianreptilepark with Sean our host from @australianwineandcheese
A wildlife sanctuary housing kangaroos, koalas, venomous creepy crawlers, and one of the largest reptile collections in Australia. Among the tasks of staff at the park include creating antivenom from some of the most dangerous snakes in the world. The wild population of koalas is rapidly declining due to habitat loss, bushfires, disease, and climate change. Sean informed us that if things continue to trend the way they are that the koala may become extinct in parts of Australia in as little as 25 years.
After hanging out with the wildlife, Sean treated to an amazing cheese spread to make a Wisconsinite proud, in addition to doing some amazing BBQ and yes there was shrimp on the barbie and it was delicious! When we were done with food, we had a good old fashion boomerang lesson before heading back for our final night in Sydney.
