This had been sitting on my bucket list, for a long while. I was thrilled to be able to capture this sunstar, behind Wizard Island. The weather was very unpredictable, with a clouds and snow forecast every day. My first luck was to be able to find a room at the Crater Lake Lodge, which had recently opened after winter closure. Being a light sleeper, I kept looking out the window, every time I woke up during the night, in the hope of seeing some clearing, to have some sun for my sunrise. I also had the bonus luck of capturing some moonlit night images, which I'll post at a later time.

The tea terraces of Munnar ramble on for miles. Many were planted when the British controlled the country. Now a huge conglomerate called Tata owns the various properties. Tata also makes the new cars seen on the highways of India.
The business of cultivating tea is enormous as well. That is until it comes down to the harvesting. About every three months or so, only the new leaves are cut on a plant that are then processed into the tea that we finally drink!

The southernmost city in California, IB is tucked between San Diego and Tijuana making it an interesting crossroads of people, entertainment, and culture. And, in my humble opinion, a great spot for photographs.
Santorini is a beautiful island in Greece, known for its stunning sunset. There are a lot of things to do in Santorini and enjoying the sunset is one of these.

A bracketed, long exposure, landscape image of the sun shining through the Autumn leaves of Kincladie Wood in Perthshire, Scotland.
This magnificent informal landscape garden was laid out in the 18th century by 'Capability' Brown and further developed in the early years of the 20th century by its owner, Arthur G. Soames. The original four lakes form the centrepiece. There are dramatic shows of daffodils and bluebells in spring, and the rhododendrons and azaleas are spectacular in early summer. Autumn brings stunning colours from the many rare trees and shrubs, and winter walks can be enjoyed in this garden for all seasons. Visitors can now also explore South Park (you have to book your visit because of the covid-19 pandemic) , 107 hectares (265 acres) of historic parkland, with stunning views.

The trail follows the edge of the Niagara Escarpment, one of the thirteen UNESCO World Biosphere Reserves in Canada, for almost 900 km (560 mi). The land the trail traverses is owned by the Government of Ontario, local municipalities, local conservation authorities, private landowners and the Bruce Trail Conservancy (BTC).
The name of the trail is linked to the Bruce Peninsula and Bruce County, which the trail runs through. The trail is named after the county, which was named after James Bruce, 8th Earl of Elgin who was Governor General of the Province of Canada from 1847 to 1854
