I'll continue a bit with some un posted Cimarron Valley RR shots from my trip there in 2015, if you don't mind. The 3004 looks a bit lonely out in the western part of the state.
Pair of Bearded Tits. There were rain clouds moving in at this point with thunder in the distance.
Taken in Norfolk.
Looks that way 😀
These are railway tracks in the Pondicherry reservation - hopefully not used often by trains - because they're also used as a trail
On a beautiful Saturday morning, I received a timely heads up that UP's MTPKC would be leaving Topeka with a Spartan Cab EMD on the point, and although I was a few minutes behind it, I knew that I could catch up to it by Lawrence. Here, with a wave from a friendly crew is the result of that quick trip to the east!
Let's be honest, the real gamers out there have rooms that look like this. That is actually what my trash can looks like. LOL

Taken using an x 8 ND filter on a long exposure.
This place is really beautiful, got this shot just as the sun was disappearing.
Just a flash or two of lightning but this storm only resulted in a trace of rain. Taken 1 May during late afternoon.
We all have those days. You get in from a busy day at work - with a stomach ache, might I add - sit down to eat your dinner and would you believe it? A chestburster. Not another one. And then, as your horrified wife asks if you meant to keep that monster, you explain to her that you'd wanted one for a while and would be forever indebted to her if she let you keep it, and that you're a bit preoccupied to be having this conversation right now.
Muchas mañanas, me subo al río y además de no pasar calor siempre encuentro motivos para fotografiar.
En este caso una toma frontal de una hembra Calopteryx haemorrhoidalis.
En este tipo de fotografía utlizo siempre un momopod.

Many mornings, I get on the river and besides not spending heat I always find reasons to photograph.
In this case a frontal shot of a female Calopteryx haemorrhoidalis.
In this type of photography I always use a momopod.
