Looks like Spring has finally arrived in East-Westphalia. Just in-time for a sunny, long weekend. Werre Meadow in Löhne, Ostwestfalen, Germany
We ran into two sets of fox cubs at the Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge. The youngsters showed different looks while doing different moves. This one was resting next to the fox hole and seemed to be laughing at the photographer although ignoring us.
A few more 'looks' are given in photos in the comments below.
Looks like the owner designed their own bed and hauling bin to this existing old Chey truck!
Happy Truck Thursday!
Wellies the wild rabbit looks up as his nose twitches
thinking this looks tasty!
Wild rabbits love dandelions even after they've turned to white fluff.
It is hot and humid and even worse tomorrow and much of the week.

He looks like the garden pet!
But know., this is a wild buzzard., and he's an absolute beauty as well
You'll know by now we 'love' our raptors., and spend a lot of time chasing them around.,
Doing all of this we have got to notice the variations in colour and even facial features from one bird to another
Even in the avian world., some birds are just better looking than others & this one could easily get a job as a part-time model!
Looks like Santa's little helper has been eating too much chocolate. HMM everyone!

"Gentlemen" statue by Ju Ming. The building in the background, the Mather Tower, was for a brief time the tallest building in Chicago. It now holds the distinction as being the most slender skyscraper in Chicago! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mather_Tower

Looks like this little lady is setting up a cafe! She was sitting underneath the home made bird table, on a huge oak tree, hoovering up any seeds that the other two were dropping.

This is an unposed portrait (shot with permission) of a homeless man in Bristol. He was sat outside a city centre shop with all his worldly possessions plus dogs.
Unfortunately for him, the helping hand in this instance that looks like an 'angel' touching his shoulder, is that of a shop window mannequin behind him. I didn't consciously notice the juxtaposition at the time so it was not staged.
There are many fake beggars on Britain's streets. I don't know this man's personal story (although I know he is known to homeless outreach workers) BUT that something in his eyes cannot be faked. I know he is in pain. And that makes me feel something.
Looks can be deceiving as this smaller scruffy looking Sow Black Bear was able to catch Salmon readily, fend off larger Bears at prime fishing spots and had a cub last year, a true survivor and a wonderful Black Bear !!

Looks like another beautiful day. It let me back on a couple of times yesterday. Some of my comments wouldn't post and some pictures came up with the description on top of them. Or if they had no description, the first comments on top of them! So it's working, but not well. Not sure when or if I'll ever catch up, but I'll keep trying. Everyone that I've made a contact, it's because I truly enjoy your friendship and looking at your pictures!
