In the adapter, there is a small hole where I believe a small screw or other stop mechanism should be in a Nikon F-mount. It stops the lens from rotating past a locked position. There is a groove and a pin that actually lock the lens in place. It isn't really needed as there's no iris lever or other asymmetries. Only now the lens rotates freely in place with the lock button down.
Doesn’t it appear that something’s missing here? What’s up with the world? Why can’t we all just get along?...... like we do here in the flickr world!! Flickrites just have fun and spread happy imagery across the globe. So tomorrow everyone in flickrdom must unite and start a gentle uprising to wage peace!! Go out and befriend someone who isn’t at peace with themselves. There must be over 3 billion flickrites in the world representing every country. If each one of us brings peace to one person we should cover the entire global population. Ask them to put down their weapons, show them your camera, and teach them how to use it. Don’t make this more difficult than it needs to be - it’s that easy!!
I know that we can accomplish this quickly because my photostream is an extremely popular one that’s visited by EVERY flickrite before they go to bed at night (don’t be shy – go ahead and admit it) - so I'm confident that we have global coverage. Please feel free to use babelfish if you don’t understand my message and need a translation.
If you read this on Wednesday, we should have reached everyone by Thursday and if we each gladly do our part, we should achieve world peace by Friday, Saturday at the latest (because of the time zones around the globe and for the people who still have dial up connections). Sunday will be a day of rest. And on Monday, I’ll call Mercedes Benz to have them restore the missing peace in their logo. We will be successful!!!…and we can all thank each other in advance…….and the world will be full of happy snappers…….

/// On St Patrick's Weekend I went on a Road trip to Mojave Desert and the Big Sur coast (Photo Set, route). I took this photo in Mojave, a town in the middle of the desert. I was trying to get as close as I could to various planes that were parked at Mojave Airport. Some of the planes were in good condition, waiting for buyers; others were being stripped for parts, or were falling apart.
The missing piece in the cat puzzle. I've been taking pictures to document where missing pieces occur so that I can either refer back when we put it together again or notify the next puzzler if we pass it on to someone else.

On our way back from Wakulla springs, my boyfriend pointed out this place with a lot of abandoned cars. The perfect picture spot in the middle of nowhere.
I'm desperately missing Vienna, as usual, so here! Have a picture of me at Beethoven's grave in the Zentralfriedhof.
