After a long day investigating the mystery of the stolen artwork(see Part 1) Miss Marple and Poirot relax in the summer house with a small glass of sherry. The duck may play an important role in finding the thief.

Part 3 of my “models from 2021” posting. This year my models had be invited to attend the Strathtay Scottish running day held by Angus Transport Group and Dundee Museum of Transport. The three models pictured here were completed in time to be featured on my Forfar Prior Road diorama during the event. Pictured are a Leyland Tiger, East Lancs Myllenium Hyline rebody, an East Lancs Spryte Dart and a Leyland Leopard Alexander Y Type in the modern livery - the only time a Strathtay y type wore this livery was in promotional artwork, and now with this model. Finally, I added to my Travel Dundee fleet with this code 3 Dart Pointer, finished with Sunrise transfers.
“Um...”
“What have they done.” His voice was more warning and demanding than questioning. “Tell me now, Daeran.”
“Sir, they have dishonored my late father, his house, me, and my mother.”
“Is that it?”
“No.”
Thrundin sighed. He took out an array of weapons, then set them out onto the large oak table. “I shall punish them for that, they do need to improve their moods. Don’t you think?”
“I don’t see as I have a say, Sire.”
“If I ask you, then you have a say. I shan’t repeat myself.”
“Yes, my Lord.”
“What do you think would be the proper punishment for them?” Daeran couldn’t believe it. The king was asking him about his sons and what would be the best way to punish them. “I have tried almost everything and nothing has worked, so I am open to any and all suggestions.”
“I don’t know ,Sir.”
“Very well, I shall ask it of someone else.” There was a few moments of silence, then Thrundin spoke again. “Vanheri said you fought well.”
“I wasn’t aware she was watching me fight, Sire.”
“She says she had never met any other who could kill that many Gradonuls in such a short time besides me. What drove you on?”
“They killed my Adma.”
Thrundin nodded. “She has a strange way with telling stories, Vanheri. She has feelings for you.” Daeran was shocked, but how? She seemed familiar, but he couldn’t remember why.
“How is that, Sire?”

The hitchhiker snake after it rode around under my car for about 45 minutes.
This is my mom's front porch, since this snake is not venomous, they took it to the woods. THEN….it came back to the porch again….and once more they took it to the woods.
The note was from Mr. Fun...seems he had a thing for me from the first time he saw me. *silly boy* he had no idea what he was getting himself into. The party had been broken up by the cops.
After that night we would see each other at work. He was sign supervisor so he would hang the signs in whatever area I was working in and we would chat while working. We started taking breaks together and then lunches. Then it was paging each other in code. (that makes us old, lol)
By this time I was so confused. When I was with Mr. Fun nothing else mattered. When I was with my fiance all I could think about was Mr. Fun. So I went to my mom.....she told me to follow my heart . (thank you mom, you're the best)
Mr. Fun and I went to the mall one day. When he dropped me back home I wanted him to kiss me....I wasn't leaving that car until I got a kiss. Yes, I was still engaged. but I also knew he wanted to kiss me...it was butterflies and goosebumps when we were together.
So we kissed and that's when I knew he was the one. That night I broke off my engagement...........
My fiance moved out the next day.
Mr. Fun and I were officially deemed a couple by all our friends, even his girlfriend he had been dating up until now.
I am not sure what happened but Mr. Fun and I didn't stay together...I started hanging out with my now ex fiance. And I heard he was with his ex though he denies it.
After a couple more weeks Mr. Fun came to my house, I don't remember one thing that was said other than a CD being thrown in my car and Mr. Fun telling me to listen to track 5 before driving off..
So I took a look in the mirror and took my moms advice. I followed my heart. Less then a year after talking cookie recipes we were married.
12 years later I still get the butterflies and goosebumps.

What a magic part of the world - the sunsets are amazing and the bird life prolific - just loving it!
I must apologise to my friends on Flickr for my lack of comments for the next little while but we are travelling around Australia for 6 months and I am using mobile WiFi internet which is extremely expensive so am trying to restrict my useage. Cheers Diane

Theresa woke up in a dress made of dry autumn leafs.
Another unknown place in another world...
She was laying on an old path in a deep forest - the path was lit with the light of two moons glowing on the dark sky.
Slowly she moved forward led by the magnetic force and after a while between the trees up on the hill she noticed the silhouette of a Greek's temple.
There was something waiting for her just in the middle of the temple... an old suitcase.
Suddenly she start to shiver...
Her heart start to beat faster...
Few steps forward and Theresa put her foot on a first step...one more and she's in there...
In that very moment You looked at her!
Don't disturb now - she need to meet her destiny.

Decauville portable track and dumpcars made hand excavation more productive. The most common type of car used on the canal had a 1/2 cubic meter bucket that could tip to either side, emptying it's contents. Sometimes the buckets were discarded and the frames used solo to transport supplies and construction materials.
I wanted to capture the delicate, open frame look of these cars, as well as the characteristic V shape of the bucket. The biggest challenge was keeping the height low enough to look right with the minifigs.
