We ran into two sets of fox cubs at the Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge. The youngsters showed different looks while doing different moves. This one was resting next to the fox hole and seemed to be laughing at the photographer although ignoring us.
A few more 'looks' are given in photos in the comments below.
Looks like the owner designed their own bed and hauling bin to this existing old Chey truck!
Happy Truck Thursday!
Wellies the wild rabbit looks up as his nose twitches
thinking this looks tasty!
Wild rabbits love dandelions even after they've turned to white fluff.
It is hot and humid and even worse tomorrow and much of the week.
...looks like these 'dogies' escaped the fencing and the cowboy had to lead them back!

Now listen up
She's razor sharp
If she don't get her way
She'll slice you apart
Now she's a cool, cool black
She moves like a cat
If you don't get her game
Well, you might not make it back
She's got the looks that kill
That kill
She's got the looks that kill
That kill
She's got the look
She's got the looks that kill
She's got the looks that kill
Now she's bulletproof
She keeps her motor clean
And believe me, you
She's a number thirteen
The church strikes midnight
She's lookin' louder and louder
She's gonna turn on the juice, boy
Then she turns on the power
She's got the looks that kill
That kill
She's got the looks that kill

Looks like just a bit-o-lichen stuck on the tree trunk. Even though they're called a gray tree frog, that rough skin can turn color like a chameleon.
Day 5: from Landmannalaugar to Reykjavík
After sleep three and half hours, we depart from Landmannalaugar to Reykjavik, a trip with the company of the midnight sun.... we stay two days visiting the capital of Iceland, a different city...
Happy day my friends!!

The expectant looks on the faces of these two chicks as they search for signs that mum has food to give them.
Each chick has a dot of white near the tip of their beak and it was fun watching them walking quickly across the lily pads to get to the food bought to them.
It is interesting how the tip of mum's open beak has cast its shadow on the lily pad located immediately behind her and the first chic.
I spent over an hour photographing these coots and watching mum and dad foraging for food. Every now and again dad would wander off, up or down the river attending to perimeter defense.
As adults, [all] coots have a drab color scheme, with black bodies and white bills. Their chicks, however, have an aesthetic that’s part drunk friar, part disheveled lion, and part tequila sunrise. Their faces and bald pates are bright red, while their necks are encircled in scruffy yellow-orange plumes - extract from an article by Ed Yong, "The Survival Advantage of Being a Fancy Baby Coot" printed in 'The Atlantic', date unknown
Me and some friends left Gainesville for the day and went to the Salvador Dali museum in St. Petersburg Florida, and we spent a large majority walking the city by the water, here is a mother and daughter shot

4:52 - Abandoned
You can fill in the story with your own imagination :)
I was going to post a recent image that I shot for this theme, but kept coming back to this one from last summer, because it was like a double abandonment. The flowers that were left there; and the man (in my mind) who waited there to give them to her, and she never came...
I was out most of the day and will do my best to catch up with you on the weekend.

Dear Flickr Friends: Thank you for stopping by and saying hello. I appreciate your visits and comments. They mean a great deal to me. I read all of them, and if a follow-up comment is appropriate, I will leave one for you on your website or send you a Flickr email.
Our photographs are extensions of ourselves. They are fleeting glimpses of our daily experiences and the consciousness we bring to the world. That makes them very important to us. Right?
In advance, I thank you for your visits and comments. I will be stopping by your sites shortly.
About this Photo: This is a picture of Euclid Creek, one of nature's beauty spots in northeast Ohio. This area is a part of the Euclid Creek Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks. God bless the Cleveland Metroparks. It is an incredibly important source of healing and peace for area residents. In these dire and stressful economic times, everyone needs healing and peace. Right?
This is an HDR photo created by merging three exposures in Photomatix software. While I have had good results from the software, it does at times produce some funky color variations in blue skies. Even with some help from Photoshop, this funkiness remains. I am open to your suggestions, if you have some.
