Comment l'on nourrit les oiseaux en hiver et que l'on se retrouve avec des plantations illégales de chanvre en été 😜
how I've fed the birds in winter and then I've got wild hemp plantations in summer 😈
The Willow tree growing in Lake Wanaka might be one of the most photographed trees in the world.
This wasn't the shot I'd originally planned, but it was the best I could get with large crowds gathering closely around it well before dawn.
I decided to try for a different composition from further down the beach, using my telephoto lens to include the mountains to the north instead of those to the east most people aim for.

I managed to get to Mote Park lake just in time to catch a few minutes of this early winter sunset - my first of this season. It was a very cold afternoon and the lake was frozen over as can be seen looking at the foreground.

Spring in the Netherlands means flowers fields. These crocuses I spotted while driving to the beach this morning (different location than usually). Soon there will be hyacinth and tulip fields.
Maybe not too artsy photo, and that building (old bunker) is a bit of an eye sore, but wanted to share it anyway.

It is a former estate garden featuring annuals, roses and wildflowers and an extensive rockery. It is located on Wilket Creek, one of the tributaries of the Don River West Branch. The estate's title was once held by Alexander Milne, a Scottish weaver who settled here after the War of 1812 and left in 1832. The land and the woolen/saw mills was obtained by Rupert E. Edwards in 1944 and created his country home. Edwards home was left in neglect and was purchased by the Municipality of Metro Toronto in 1955 and became Edwards Gardens in 1956.

A puddle's eye view or rather iPhone's eye view of Skogafoss ... It is hard to get an original composition at this famous waterfall, so I was glad to find the puddle and thankful to the strangers who walked into my composition ... it was not an easy shot to take with the overwhelming spray so close to the falls, it was hard to 'see' what I was composing ... (do look at it large if you have a moment)
I find it interesting that I can feel the emotions in me that I felt when taking this photo. It was quite a storm as it approached our town.
