CHEF dsm8954 calls this challenge “Tag, You’re it” and wants us to use graffiti (plus other elements) to emphasize the contrast between real world and artistically created ingredients. (Read carefully and don't skip the footnotes! Lots of details here to absorb.)

While walking the North Vista Trail on a hike to Exclamation Point with an overlook along the North Rim and a view looking to the southwest across the canyon and gorge with blue skies above in Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. With this image, I tried to balance the canyon and nearby landscape in the image. All around were outcroppings of ridgelines and cross-fissures between both sides of the gorge canyon walls. There was also some of the foreground in the lower image left that I felt helped to give a sense of perspective and a layering of the image.
I later worked with control points in DxO PhotoLab 3 and then made some adjustments to bring out the contrast, saturation and brightness I wanted for the final image.
An exclamation of joy was let out upon seeing this Silver-spotted Skipper (Hesperia comma) at Aston Rowant nature reserve in the Chilterns. The place is so lush and overgrown that I was worried these warm-ground loving little ones wouldn't make it. This is the only one I saw; a chance encounter whilst following another butterfly. The poor angle was dictated by a small gap in the long grasses; a couple of seconds to grab the record shot and she was off and lost in the meadow chaos. I've yet to catch one of these at rest.
Amazingly, it was August 4th, a Sunday, in almost perfect conditions (low wind, up to 20C, hazy sun and light cloud mix) - and I was the only photographer at the site (the north side) all day - from 0430 to 1800. Plenty of fresh male Chalkhills about but other than Meadow Browns and Six-Spot Burnet moths, everything else was low numbers. Didn't see an Adonis.

While on a hike along the North Vista Trail to Exclamation Point in Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. Here I came across a setting looking up a small rise that had fallen trees as well as other large rocks and boulders with some nearby evergreens. One of the things that drew me into the setting was the color contrast present. In the lower portion of the image were more earthtones, while the upper portion had blues and greens. I angled my Nikon SLR camera such that there would be more of a balance between the two hues but still creating a somewhat sweeping view looking up the rise.

My thinking in composing this image was to angle my Nikon SLR camera slightly downward and capture that sweeping view with the outcroppings, ridgelines and cross-fissures present. The canyon and cliff walls would be all around with just a portion of the blue skies in the upper part of the image. There was also some of the foreground in the lower image left that I felt helped to give a sense of perspective and a layering of the image. One can even see a small portion of the Gunnison River flowing by in the image bottom.

If ever a bird ended its song with an exclamation, it’s the Northern Parula. A rising buzzy trill is capped off with a final sharp note is characteristic and easily identifiable. Although they tend to be canopy birds, they sometimes descend to the understory to forage for insects. It’s a great time to get a closer look at these beautiful birds. Like most tiny warblers, they are frequently heard but rarely seen. At a distance and without magnification they won’t draw a gaze but with the proper magnification true beauty emerges. #NorthernParula

Self-taught visual artist since very young.
He always had great skills for arts, starting on graffiti in 1996 at the age of 13 in hip hop movement and SP graffiti.
At 16 very young, but with great competence and artistic ability, he was hired to give lessons, workshops and participate in various events for the government of São Paulo and Culture Secretariat from 1999 to 2004 .
Later he was hired by the city of Barueri to make art in urban-wide leisure areas from 2004 to 2008, giving the city more color and art.
His work gained recognition in Brazil in 2008.
He is invited to a Hip Hop festival in Europe and since then his work has spread to many countries.
Besides murals his work is very appreciated by many collectors, galleries and art lovers around the world.
Lisbon is where he currently lives and develops his creativity and art in his studio in Carcavelos (Double Trouble Studio) with the recognized and pioneer graffiti artist and street art in Portugal Nomen and Ram.
He attended in many art festivals, exhibitions and events.
His work can be found in many countries and his canvas paintings, sculpture and others are available all over the world such as Brazil, Spain, Portugal, France, Sweden, United Kingdom, Taiwan, Italy, Israel, Germany, USA, Netherlands, China, Austria, Poland, Finland and others.
✅❗ In the photo you see also The Glória Funicular (Portuguese: Ascensor da Glória), sometimes known as the Elevador da Glória (Glória Lift) which is a funicular railway that connects the Pombaline downtown (at the Restauradores Square) with the Bairro Alto (Garden/ Overlook of São Pedro de Alcântara), operated by Carris.
The line conforms to the funicular principle, with two cars permanently attached to opposite ends of a haulage cable, which is looped over a pulley at the upper end of the track. Unusually, traction is provided by electric motors on the two cars, which are themselves powered through an overhead wire. The cable links the two cars together so that they ascend and descend simultaneously, each car acting as a counterweight for the other one.
