Sculpt progress on Giger's Necronom IV - ALIEN - 1:18 scale. From what time I had this weekend (with was very little), I was able to begin filling in the rest of the head sculpt, keeping in mind this piece will be sporting a clear dome. Unfortunately I will be sanding down and sculpting the mouth and chin of the beast again - after seeing the work through the lens I was unsatisfied with how it appeared. This profile looks fine but the head on shot leaves much to be desired. The initial sculpt will have the beast "shining" its teeth, while future version(s) will have the mouth open.
