Sufi/ সুফি

I met with this little Sufi in Dhaka street. Sufi is the mystical devotee of spiritual Islam beyond the political aspects of relations.

 

I asked this boy,

- Why do you like Sufism?

 

He said,

- Sufism is a way of non-violence. I want to love and connect with God beyond the third person's barriers. I love and get the peace from the practices. My father also follows Sufism. He teaches me always to be a good dervish.

অন্যরকম পোষাকে শ্যামলীর রাস্তায় এই বালককে দেখে! থেমেছিলাম, জিজ্ঞাসা করে জানলাম - সে একজন, সুফি! সে আমাকে রুমি'র কবিতা শুনিয়েছিল। আমি মুগ্দ হয়ে তার চোখে প্রাণ দেখে ছিলাম।
