Digital detox complete. I treated myself (actually it was a gift from daughter #1) to 45 minutes in a grotto-style Himalayan salt cave @skinsense_dayspa in North Raleigh. Definitely gonna need more salt therapy, lots of health benefits! Because phones emit positive ions, I couldn’t take it into the actual room. But there were lamps in the waiting areas, before it got stored away in a locker. Once you’re comfortable, they give you cold eye compresses and blankets so you can zen out. Very holistic. You’ll have to experience it for yourself. Looks like they host Salt Cave Twilight Yoga for serene sleep and you can wear your pajamas! I’m in. Negative ions have a positive effect.
