When we worship that not so holy trinity (Me, Myself, and I) at our altars of Ingratitude and Entitlement, it’s hard (impossible?) to be thankful. Later today, if you struggle as your family goes around the room exclaiming what they are thankful for, you just might have a case “unthankfulitis” or “takeishforgranted.” If you are really struggling though, start with, “me.” (Me, focus on me 🔊🎶) Because when we don’t appreciate and love the life we’ve been gifted with (Love Yours 🔊🎶) and just how much that gift is worth, we can’t truly appreciate and love anything or anyone else. When you say, “I’m thankful for me and my life!” and mean it, you may get some funny looks, because the world is so focused on keeping us discontented with and disliking ourselves, so that we will chase some thing to fix that emptiness, that void that only God can fill. Focus on all He has gifted you with, and the great price He has paid for you...today!
