I think I could work with that fella. He may have some issues with his work ethic, but he has integrity. If he calls in and says he can't make it to work because there's a polar bear in house then you'll probably hear about a polar bear escaping from the zoo, when you turn on the News.
The truth is usually quite simple and requires no excuses and little explanation. I believe most of you have read a Declaration and heard a speech about certain Truths being "Self-Evident." I personally believe that all truth is self-evident.

over the last weeks i just stopped taking pictures. i just don't know where to start, my feelings don't carry me anywhere..
i don't feel like taking pictures.
once, someone said that you can't take pictures if your not in love.
but it's even worse if you are in love but things don't work out.
neither in a positive nor in a negative way.

I've never tried this before, but this morning I needed a pick-me-up. I carefully poured my coffee and my soy milk into a stemmed glass. I look out now at the snow falling and blowing past my window, my fingers carefully wrapped around the stem of my shot of morning joy, and ponder what life truly is.
Generosity is simply our giving without consideration of our circumstances...what it will cost us. It's so much easier to give from our abundance and leftovers (that which we will not miss) than it is to give of our last or best (that which we will certainly miss)

All of our accomplishments and failures begin and end with the Will. Will is defined as the faculty by which a person decides on and initiates action. When another's will matches ours or yields easily to ours, we may say that they are compliant. When another's will opposes ours or does not easily yield to ours, we may say that they are strong-willed.
Selfish and/or immature Wills think like Reese Bobby (Ricky Bobby's father in Talladega Nights) with regards to getting their way (exercising their will). There's only first place and last place. They will win no matter the cost and will not yield much, if at all. They say, "Nevertheless My Will and Not Your Will" to their neighbors and to God. Whenever they must yield in the slightest, pouting and tantrums are sure to follow. Selfishness is the polar opposite of love...My Will Rules Alone and I Exist to be Served!
Moderately Mature Wills consider others and strive to reach a common ground. They seek Win-Win outcomes that are fair and equitable for both people. Even so, there is usually some degree of resentment or anger by one or both sides for what had to be sacrificed to reach the compromise. The one that yields the most may expect some type of acknowledgement or recognition for "being the bigger person," and any dissatisfaction may be shown Passive-Agressively. If the same person must yield in every conflict to reach an agreement the unresolved resentment and anger will build and become problematic for the relationship...My Will Rules With Yours!
Selfless and/or Mature Wills yield to others without regard for the cost or sacrifice. Jesus said, things like "if anyone would sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well," "if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also," "If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat, and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink." Not My Will, Your Will be done...My Will Is to Serve You!
None of us will ever achieve that ultimate level of the Mature Will (Agape Love or Altruism). Can you imagine giving someone that sued you more than they were awarded? Having someone slap you on your right cheek and presenting them with the left? Feeding your enemy and giving them water? Most of us struggle just doing right by our family and friends and submitting our Wills to theirs...I know that I do!
We are born with Selfish Wills and through the trials and tribulations of life, our Wills mature and we learn to "play in the sandbox" of life. If we take an inventory of our Wills, we'll see that many of the roadblocks in our life are the result of our own stubbornness. We've crossed our arms and puffed out our chests and refused to yield our Wills in a certain area of our lives.
The good news is that your Will is really quite easy to change...you just do it!

I followed the directions for washing a vinyl shower curtain in the Apartment Therapy book, but I was a little nervous as to if it would really work. I really like my shower curtain, (and it's been discontinued by Pottery Barn), so thankfully, it worked! Bleach, the shower curtain, and some towels worked great.

In my own experience, i have always had much greater success finding things, when i turn on the lights. When i'm to lazy and just grope around in the dark, i usually have to #riseup and #turnonalight anyway to #fixsomething i broke, #cleanup a mess or #tendto a bruised foot or shin.

Anyone that’s ever done a jigsaw puzzle knows that it’s sometimes possible to force pieces together that don’t belong together, we can even use adhesives or fasteners to hold them together; however, that methodology is a waste of time and will never reveal the image the Creator intended us to see.
We can also become so focused on a single piece, and finding the pieces that fit only that one piece, that we become frustrated to the point of quitting and giving up. Once again we will never realize the image on the box or see the image the Creator wanted us to experience.
When we put those pieces together that are obvious fits first, and fill in the isolated and harder to match pieces, as we go, referring back to the image on the box (directions in the Book ♂️) regularly, we will have much greater odds of completing the puzzle the way it was intended. Stop looking (passive and futile) and start creating (active and fruitful)...today!
