Development Progress Nepal

by ODI Global

In Phulpingkot, a village in Central Nepal, community members of all ages and occupations were asked to consider improvements they’ve seen in maternal and child health.
Participants considered the impact of government activities such as the successful Vitamin A programme, the roles of different members of the community in ensuring everyone benefits, and the actions of NGOs to address issues specific to remote communities.

In Pangma in Eastern Nepal, community members of various ages and occupations were asked to reflect on the changes in access to electricity and the impact of renewable energy projects on their lives and the wider community.
