033*/365/2022 :: A belated and forgotten photo

Matakura Yacht Club, Te Anau, South Island, New Zealand

We hardly have this kind of photography especially intimating type, oftentimes there were way many road passers. We only attempt to act or pose when there is nobody and hopefully could get the shot we wanted.

I still remember we been waiting for this shot for a long time especially few tourists also taking advantage doing their own wefie photography, wifey wasn’t happy because I allowed them do theirs even it is our turn, cause we gonna take a while for our session.

The couple promise for a quick one, didn’t know their “quick one” was that long while taking all the best lighting and we been waiting for 15 minute while the sun was slowly faded away. Wifey worried sick and angry about it, I told her I will try my best to salvage the lighting in the post editing. At the very least we have a quiet window to have our ideal shots secured.

This piece of work already done editing back in 2019 (after a year of travel), for some reason it was buried and didn't get my attention until I browse through my NAS when picking up the remaining shots to be edited further. Thank god while glanced through and manage to spot it, looks like I really need to pay attention and allocate time for these orphanage photos.
