Starry Night over Bodie Church
The Wild West "ghost town" of Bodie, California, an abandoned gold mining town, is now preserved as Bodie State Historic Park.

Bodie is often described as America's best-preserved ghost town. I have been fortunate to lead over 50 photo workshops in Bodie in 2012-2019 outside of normal visiting hours: 39 for sunset and night access, and over 15 for sunrise and interior access.
