Wahkeena Falls, Early Autumn 2014
Wahkeena Falls has been one of my favorite places to photograph over the years, but it has become increasingly hard to get a good picture there. With the new viewing platform, overgrowth obscuring the stream, and new restrictions for where prople can go as impediments, I go there fewer times these days. I will say that I pay attention to the restrictions. The Gorge has been trampled underfoot, and burned to a crisp lately, and It’s good to give it a rest.
Camera: Sinar Alpina 4x5
Lens: 90mm Nikkor
Film: Fuji Velvia 100.
