Brambleton Library Makerspace Artist Residency, summer, 2025

And now for something completely different: meet Brambleton, the world’s first 3D-printed Splotch Monster! Brambleton was inspired by a very early Splotch Monster, made in 2009, and was born at the Brambleton Library Makerspace on Saturday, August 9, at 12:30pm. Yesterday he went on his first hike, and explored Runnymede Park, in Herndon, Virginia. He’s fond of trees, streams, sun dapples, spider webs, and is a very fun guy who appreciates fungi.
