Sometimes nature seems cheesier than my imagination. I observed these Crested Grebes (Podiceps cristatus) performing their courtship rituals - a rather complex sequence of moves and poses and while taking the photos I realised the gracefulness and beauty of these commonplace birds and their interaction.

I found this tree close to Drumheller. I just had to stop and get some pictures of it. It reminds me of a fairy tale tree that will come to life. Like in Bridge to Terebithia. I waited.... but nothing happened! LOL
I am off to play photographer for the band in Banff. I hope everyone has a great weekend!
