Paper Dolls - Fun Artsy Dolls
I enjoy finding unusual ways to use rubber stamp images and decided to create these Artsy Paper Dolls as my submission to the 100 Proof Press December 2009 “Press it Out” stamp contest. I used a paper doll and wig template I had on hand and then decorated each doll using stamps by 100 Proof Press Rubber Stamps. Each skirt was created by stamping the main image for each multiple times, cutting those images out
and arranging them fan style to finish off the flirty apparel.
For this set of dolls I used the following stamps: #5394 Corset, #6321 Sm Face Block (I used 3 of the faces from that cube for these dolls), #3287 Brownstone (stamped 5 times for the skirt of the Red Doll), #998 Corinthian Column (stamped 4 times – 3 for the skirt and one to cut up and rearrange for the bodice of the Blue Doll), #1756 Fancy Easel (stamped 8 times for the Pink Doll – 6 full images and then 2 additional swags were needed for this skirt)
