Cupcake Chapel
A quirky and well-known church in Phoenix is called “The Cupcake” for obvious reasons. It’s in the St. Gregory neighborhood of North Encanto to the west of downtown. It is owned by the Asbury Methodist Church. Mel Ensign was the architect. He was apparently known for odd buildings but I was unable to find out much about him on a search online today.

I noticed that there are not a whole lot of photos of this place online. Two articles/sites that feature this chapel have photos that look a bit "better" or somehow less cluttered and have a little information are these:
