Autostitch Mosaics
All the photos in this set were made with Michael Brown's Autostitch mosaic-maker software. I rarely diddle with the settings for Autostitch. About the only thing I have to do to get great lunar mosaics is be careful to get full coverage of the area of concern. I think it's a simply amazing program.
The closeups are usually 3 to 8 separate photos, whereas the wide-angle shots can be as many as a couple of dozen. These are best viewed at Original resolution. Some of them make near poster-size prints! Enjoy.
Telescope and mount, as well as the computer used to process these images, were supplied by 3RF, the Three Rivers Foundation for the Arts & Sciences (www.3rf.org).
