FAKE BARON Rotocast Mold
A never released FAKE BARON Rotocast Mold.
FAKE BARON was originally planned to release last year and was made by a China factory. We took our lesson in our first and worst experience.
Last year, we found a company call "Max-Maker Inc.". They seem legit since they have registered on many global trade sites. They claim they have decade of experience of toy making including vinyl. The communication was great before the payment but after its just a disaster. They have no shame to promise u everything they will never do and lying all the time.(For a couple times they told us the vinyl sample is done and ready to ship us next day but actually they not even started yet) We have been answered with new excuse hundreds of times for delays and problems. Most of the time just get ignore for month or more. It never made in to the product, the quality just so bad, the vinyl feel like a dollar toy and the figure can not stand on its own. Turn out they are just a factory somewhere in China and they only produce cheap piracy toy. We are lucky to get our mold back but we never get our production run money back.
The problem is not Made in China. Actually almost all the highest quality toy are produced here if you can afford it. We just gave the project to the wrong hand for the people who don't care the shit. As a toy collector we only want to made toys with the quality we want to collect. So we take our lesson and abandon this production. Japan is one of the place you can find people you can trust and care with your project. We are happy with the outcome for our first toy.
As a toy maker, we have been struggle should we share this experience. Recently we heard "Max-Maker Inc." still scamming others so we decided we should share this. We want other toy maker to be warned and don't fall into their scam. And please do forward this and let the power of internet judge them.
