Floor tyle decoration. Always a nice welcome, the tiles show "Cafe de L'Ecu" or patterns that reminds us to a stunning design with many special decorations like these when it was all brandnew.

Hotel de L'Ecu de France - Interior
The Hotel de L'Ecu de France (est. 1624) is owned by the fourth generation of a family. Many traces of a long history, even with stables where people used to travel by horse and carriage. Started as a "Relais de Poste" and remembered by visitors as Charles de Batz, better known as the famous Musketier d'Artagnan. Today a simple but welcoming hotel with restaurant where travelers still enjoy a pleasant stay.
