Pinkstersail, a repeating sailing event during the Pentecost days in Hellevoetsluis, a great event for lovers of old sailing ships. During the Pentecost weekend up to 50 ships such as Schokkers, Clippers, Botters and Zeevalken in the harbor and of course sail on the vast Haringvliet, which is acclaimed by sailing enthusiasts. Most ships are authentic in appearance and many of them so-called gaff-rigged ships.
