@seththethird the main three tips for toonpaint. #1) use colored backgrounds against all white subjects, and vice versa. use one solo color for the background, make it bright... #2) use the shading and size tabs, play around with them. In the shading tab is a button called extra smoothing. Use it. #3) save your toonpaint. Then use these apps in this order to make your art pop. Camera+ use the Overlay FX filter. Halftone app for comic dots. Then take back into camera+ again, use overlay filter again. This creates a great gradient in the background. It's important you use the overlay before the half tone dots. This creates dots of different sizes.
