Sexy Woman

Image 76 of an Undetermined Number

"Sexy Woman"

We were planning out trip to Peru, and I asked my father if there were any sites in particular that he would recommend we see. One of the first places he mentioned was the fortress-temple complex of Sacsayhuaman, near the former Inca capital of Cuzco. It was the largest structure built by the Incas (begun in the mid-15th century), and is known for the use of enormous polygonal blocks, some weighing in at over 100 tons. I imaging they looked at photographs of the job they did over in Giza, and used them as a basis for their work. My hypothesis is purely speculative, and is in no way based in fact. When my father proposed we visit the site, he suggested I remember the name "Sexy Woman" in an effort to recollect the name when we arrived. It worked. At the very last moment before posting this image, I decided to remove all of the tourists in Photoshop. I counted approximately 138. My wife asked why I am always tired in the mornings. Oh, Instagram does not currently allow for panoramic shots, so this has been a waste of time. Thanks for having a look!!!
