"Image 361"
A special somebody brought me two gifts from Seattle. Here is one of them. This ball rolls around in the sand, and leaves these lovely trails. Knowing I wanted to accentuate the grooves and texture in the sand and ball, I stuck a strip light at camera-right, just above the ball. The low angle helped to create the contrast in light and shadow. I then placed a bounce board at camera-left to fill in the shadows a bit. Finally, I performed a bit of cross processing, and the image was complete. I hope this left an impression!!
