Corporate Hollywood

Day 211 of 365

"Corporate Hollywood"

Today is my last day with my most willing model. She must return to a place called, "Seattle." For our last shoot, we decided to go with an old Hollywood/corporate headshot look. We used a total of four lights for this shoot. Our key is a gridded beauty dish, and it is just above camera. It provides the shadow under her camera-right nostril, and supplies the lovely catchlight in the eyes. Next, we have a strip bank working from camera-left, and it gives us the rim light on her right shoulder and forearm. Thirdly, there is a speedlight shooting through my Light Blaster, producing the window frame on the seamless background. Lastly, there is a deep Octa at camera-right, filling in the shadows of the key light. It is at the lowest power possible, and the highlight can be seen in the young lady's eyes. When dealing with multiple light sources, you just start dealing with them one-at-a-time. You build the image slowly, and stop when you are finished. Thanks for checking out this frame!!
