Peony 'Ada Niva' 23W23 Lactiflora N4- (Niva / Snelson, 1999) (4-JAP-RD) Lactiflora Cultivar Peony, Mature plant size: 18in., RED, Short Height, Japanese type flower, Red, LateSeason bloomer, Deep burgundy red with a touch of gold on the edge of the center petaloids. , USDA Hardiness Zone 3-8, Michigan Bloom Month 6a, In Garden Bed N4 for 14 MONTHS (Wild). Planted in 2022.

 

Wild: Peony Ada Niva - E J Red SH F. Deep burgundy red with a touch of gold on the edge of the center petaloids. Good stem strength. No pollen, slight fragrance. 3-5 eye, bareroot division. Full sun, zones 3-7.

 

American Peony Society: Seedling number, parentage and first bloomed—unknown. Beautiful deep burgundy red Japanese type flower form with a touch of gold on edge of center petaloids. Glossy and lustrous foliage. Interesting as it is emerging in early Spring, 18″ in height with good stem strength. Late lactiflora, has seeds, no pollen, slight fragrance. This variety is short, and especially good for landscape.
