Clematis 'Huvi' 23W22 Clematis F4- (Uno Kivistik) Large Flowered Clematis (Type2-SL-RD), Mature plant size: 6ft., Red, USDA Hardiness Zone 4-9, Michigan Bloom Month 6a, In Garden Bed F4 for 13 MONTHS (Wayside). Planted in 2022.
Brushwood Nursery: Clematis Huvi is yet another introduction from the prolific hybridizer, Uno Kivistik. Huvi has glossy, carmine red flowers in June to July and again in August or September. The flowers are 4 to 6 inches across and have cupped petals with slightly wavy margins. The pinkish stamens complement the color nicely.
Velvet fabric of purplish- red on the bar to darker on the waved edge of the six large tepals. The stamens are also maroon to purple with anthers of cream color. An Estonian selection from the Kivistik family. Clematis 'UNAI 006' Plant Patent #22,901
