Oh, the troubles!

Trouble #1 - this shot of Indian Paintbrush, growing high in the meadows near Mt.Baker, was taken with a borrowed camera. That's because I arrived in Washington with my camera - but no card in the camera. The card was back in my computer in NY. And we were out in the MOunt Baker Wilderness area, among the world's finest mountains!

 

After listening to my endless complaining, my daughter finally just gave me her camera to use.

 

So I was happy, and took many photos. I loaded them onto my daughter's computer, saved them on a Sandisk Cruzer Switch, and took them home with me.

 

Trouble # 2 - my computer would not open the device.

 

Trouble #3 - my computer stopped opening ANY devices, so my husband could not download his trip pictures either. Try imagining the frustration around here!

 

Finally, my daughter rescued the situation again, by posting all the photos online, for me to download, mess with, and get ready to upload onto Flickr.

 

And so we have this shot! I did enjoy using her fine Lumix camera, btw.
