Benefits of a nap

Getting the benefits of a nap is all about achieving the right stages of sleep. Napping long enough (10-20 minutes) to go from stage one (nodding off) to stage two (slower brain activity), leaves you feeling alert and energized. But if you nap into stages three and four (deep sleep), you will struggle to wake and feel tired.
