Quaking Aspen

SC Oct. #1 - Find foliage in some color other than green. SH101 #40 Fall/Autum.

A tall deciduous tree native to cooler areas of North America. The name Quaking Aspen is derived from its leaves which flutter in the slightest breeze due to the flat stalk that attatches a leaf to the stem. The glossy green leaves, become a shimmerig golden yellow in Autumn.
