Thank you Radio stations: Radio Mirchi 98.3FM, Suryan 93.5FM , Fever 91.9FM, RadioOne 94.3Fm & Hello 106.4FM for broadcasting Agni Foundation QRT support!Officially, Over 1700 Trees have been uprooted, 64 reported Cars and over 250 cases of homes were damaged!So far, Our 4 #Vardahcyclone Quick Response Teams (QRT) #Volunteers #serving #emergencies have answered 45 Calls from affected Citizens in Kotturpuram/Adyar/Gandhinagar/OMR/Alwarpet! (Apologies for the ones, we werent able to help directly)
According to our Volunteers of the #AgniFoundation QRT, the TN Police, the Chennai City Corporation & Disaster Management teams have worked tirelessly for the past 8 hours serving Chennai and continue to do so even now. Kudos to them!Tough Tired, We will continue to be of service through the night for Medical/Shelter/Food/Communication Emergencies! #Doctors part of the Agni Foundation Advisory board have pledged their support at the time of Emergencies! Thanks once again to the brave volunteers for risking their own lives to serve others & the Donors for being thoughful and rendenring Food/Shelter for the affected!
